Casing Spools Functions

The casing spool in a conventional wellhead system is the component that allows for an additional string of casing to be set in the well. Depending on the casing program for the well, there can be one or more casing spools and they perform the following functions:

WOM&#;s Casing Head Spools can be used in onshore and offshore environments, for general and sour service and in conventional or specialty wellhead systems. The WC-29 Casing Spool has a deeper bowl design which allows the use of the WC-29 Cashing Hanger for heavier casing loads.
