It is unstable at high temperatures. If it is placed in a high-temperature environment for a long time, the anti-ballistic performance will decrease, and it will melt and decompose when suddenly encountering high temperatures. If it is hit by armor-piercing incendiary bombs or low-speed bullets, the high temperature generated by the bullets after contact is likely to cause the actual ballistic resistance to be not much higher than that of aramid (poor high-temperature resistance).
